Nothing really exciting happening today. It's back to school time, so life will start to get busier but back to a regular schedule.

Another Questionable Government Decision

So, drinking and driving, not a good idea. Governments tend to frown on it along with the public. So WHY would the state of New Hampshire advertise and put state liquor store at rest stops along the highways. Just a question. Is it so if your on your way to Grandma's house and forgot your liquor you can buy it on the way, without having to stray far from the road? Alcohol and driving do NOT mix.

I know, I have had 2 negative New Hampshire posts in a row. It was actually a pretty state, and the people were friendly, but these 2 things just seemed very poorly thought out.

Government Waste

So, we were on vacation last week. While driving through New Hampshire we noticed one of the biggest wastes of time, money and resources that we have seen in a while. They have signs posted EVERY 0.2 miles (yes, 0.2 miles) stating that you have gone another 0.2 miles. Example: mile 46 ..... mile 46.2 ..... mile 46.4 ..... mile 46.6 ..... mile 46.8 ..... and so on the ENTIRE WAY through the state. Why do they possibly need this many markers? Not only was it a waste, it made the trip feel longer.

The End of THe Deal of the Day

So, yesterday I stopped my deal of the day promotion. It became tedious and didn't seem to bring in any additional traffic or sales.

Late Nights

I should be at work, but got the night off. GREAT! Except that I am now awake while everyone else sleeps. I have to be quiet, so I thought I would write a post. No idea about what though. Randomness I guess.

On monday I started a Deal of the Day in my etsy shop, and have been trying to make sure that I update the blog with the new one each day.

I also think that I want to start making my own glass beads. I have been thinking and wanting to do it for a long time, but now I think I will. It will take a while. I need to get all of the equipment, but, yep, I think I am going to stop thinking and start doing.

Starting tonight, every evening between 4:00 & 8:00pm EST I will pick an item as my Deal of the DAY (DD). I will post it at a price, and that will be the LOWEST it will EVER be, and in some cases the DD price will be below my costs. The price will be good until the next evening, when I chage the DD item. If the DD sells before it is time for the new DD, I will pick a new item, if time allows. If I DO NOT have a DD posted I will give you a 10% discount on your entire order. The DD item will be posted in my shops Featured section at the top of page 1.
